Digital Cards / Gift Cards / Software Licenses
Q: “Why am I asked to verify my identity when buying a digital card or gift card?”
To comply with Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Interior regulations for fraud prevention and identity protection, we require identity verification for digital products.
Q: “Is it safe to share my Civil ID with you?”
Yes. We only request it once for identity verification, and we handle all data in accordance with Kuwait’s data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. Your information is stored securely and never shared with third parties unless required by law.
Q: “Will you ever ask for my One-Time Password (OTP)?”
No. Never share your OTP with anyone claiming to be from WifiTrendy. We will never ask for your OTP, bank password, or any sensitive authentication codes.
Q: “Can someone else use my payment card to buy a digital card or place an order on your website?”
No. For security and fraud prevention, the payment card must belong to the same person whose name appears on the customer account. Orders placed with mismatched or unauthorized payment details may be subject to cancellation, and the system may require additional identity verification. WifiTrendy reserves the right to refuse any suspicious transactions and take appropriate legal action if needed.
Q: “Why do I need to receive a verification call?”
For first-time buyers of digital products, we make a call to confirm your identity, mobile number, and address before sending the digital code. This is a mandatory security measure.
Q: “What should I do if someone uses my card fraudulently to buy a digital card or place an order from your website?”
If you believe your card was used without your authorization, please contact your bank immediately to report the fraud and open a dispute case.
Unfortunately, since digital card codes are sent instantly and cannot be revoked after delivery, we are unable to cancel or refund the order from our side. WifiTrendy follows strict verification procedures, and any unauthorized use must be handled through your bank or legal authorities.
Q: “Why do I need to provide my full address inside Kuwait?”
It is a regulatory requirement to ensure the customer is physically present in Kuwait and not using fraudulent methods or anonymous payment methods.
Q: “What happens if I provide incorrect or fake information?”
The order will be blocked, suspended, or cancelled. We reserve the right to report fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities.
Q: “Can I share the digital code with someone else?”
Once the code is delivered to your registered email, it is your responsibility. Do not share it with untrusted sources. WifiTrendy is not liable for any loss or theft after delivery.
Q: “How do you protect my data?”
All your information is stored securely using encrypted WooCommerce databases. We never share your data with third parties unless requested by official government authorities or required for fraud investigation.
Q: “What if I don’t want to provide my Civil ID?”
You can verify your identity by calling us directly from your Kuwait mobile number or using the “Hawiyati” app. Please contact customer support for alternative verification methods.
Q: “Can I cancel my order after receiving the digital code?”
No. Digital cards, gift cards, and software license keys are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the code has been sent to your email.
Q: “Why is my order delayed even after successful payment?”
If we detect any suspicious activity or missing verification steps, your order will be placed on hold until verification is complete. Please check your email or phone for a verification request from our team.
Q: “How do I know the email I received is really from WifiTrendy?”
All official WifiTrendy emails are sent from @wifitrendy.com domain. Do not trust any message from other domains. If you are unsure, contact us directly at cs@wifitrendy.com
Q: “Can someone hack my WifiTrendy account?”
